He was born July 15, 1920, in Elkhart to Homer and Myrtle Price. On Oct. 27, 1947, in Arkansas, he married Dolores J. Seratt. She preceded him in death in 2004.

He is survived by two daughters, Edith J. "Joan" Price and Bernadine "Bernie" Price of Elkhart; one son, Darrell W. Price of Indianapolis; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, John T. Price, and three brothers.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 821 Baldwin St., Elkhart, where memorial services will take place at 4 p.m. Cremation will take place with burial in Prairie Street Cemetery later.

Mr. Price was employed at Servimation for more than 10 years and was formerly employed at Continental Can. He was also a World War II Army veteran.
