Obituary
GRANGER — Bennie D. Moore Jr., 45, of Granger, passed away Thursday morning, July 28, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Bennie was born Aug. 10, 1970, in Morristown, Tenn., to Bennie D. and Brenda K. (Shannon) Moore Sr.
He married Angel L. Metzler on Aug. 31, 1991. in Middlebury.
Surviving are his wife of almost 25 years, Angel L. Moore; son Jon D. (Melissa) Moore of Elkhart; daughter Heather N. Moore and Jeremy Ciesialka of Osceola; three grandchildren, Lily Ciesialka, Alvin Moore and Bennie Ciesialka; sisters Crystal (Josh) Gilliam of Indianapolis, Elizabeth Moore of Elkhart and Jennifer (Scott) Hatton of Coloma, Mich.; and his parents, Bennie D. and Brenda Moore Sr. of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Merida Moore on Jan. 29, 2016.
Bennie was a 1989 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School. He formerly worked in quality control at Damon Motor Coach. Bennie was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He attended Beulah Missionary Church., where the funeral service celebrating Bennie's life will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church, 57595 C.R. 17, Goshen. Pastor Earl Smith of Beulah Missionary Church and Pastor Michael Quirey of Grace Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Little Pine Cemetery.
