ELKHART -- Becky Sue Brewer, 39, of Elkhart, died Tuesday (Nov. 3, 2009) in her home.

She was born July 31, 1970, in Blue Island, Ill., to Roy Brewer and Crystal Brewer-Smith.

Ms. Brewer is survived by her mother; two daughters, Mikayla and Sonia Wilcox, of Elkhart; two sons, Jacob Wilcox of Fort Wayne and Nathaniel (Kaitlin Landon) Wilcox of Elkhart; a sister, Mable Brewer; one brother, Michael Brewer; a step-brother, and T.J. (Debbie) Smith.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Terry Smith.

Ms. Brewer worked most of her life as a seamstress, doing sewing at home for ADEC Industries. She also worked as a nurse's aide for several years. She loved sewing and made quilts, patchwork, embroideries and clothing and was an accomplished cook. She enjoyed reading and watching "ER" and "Medium" on television.

No visitation or funeral service is planned. Cremation has taken place.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, assisted the family with arrangements.
