IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barney E.
Simon
March 21, 1947 – August 27, 2020
Barney Ernest Simon, 73, of Bristol, was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at his residence in Bristol, IN. He was born in Constantine, MI on March 21, 1947, to the late John Barney and Beth Ann (Stanard) Simon and was preceded in death by his brother, Larry.
Barney is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; sons, Jeff (Diane) Simon, Charles Konopinski, and Steve Silva (a son in his heart); daughters, Susan (Joe) Forche, Jill (Craig) Saathoff, Julie (Dwayne) Nickel, and granddaughters, Jillian and Bethany Simon.
As owner and president of Archer Coach, Barney never met a stranger. He loved golf and was most proud of his three holes in one. He enjoyed camping in his RV and hunting in the great outdoors.
Barney often went to the Country Lane Bake Shop to buy cherry pies to enjoy with Cathy – and he never forgot to take an old-fashion cream pie and a raspberry cream pie to his good friend, Father Bob, who touched his soul.
He was a devoted friend to his friends and will live on in their memories.
