Barbara May Smith, 86, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Brickyard Care Center in Elkhart, IN.

Barbara was born on November 14, 1938 in Holywell, Wales to the late, Matthew and Caroline Fay Smith.

Barbara is preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Osborne Pritchard on January 30, 2023 and her sisters, Janet and Shirley.

Barbara is survived by her grandchildren, Ivy Pritchard, Nigel Hunt, Laila Colagrossi, Angelo Colagrossi and Danna Ruiz; great grandchildren, Hannah Pritchard, Jordan Miller, Darrion Jackson, Teagan Hunt and her sister, Linda.

Barbara was a professional hairdresser. She was a classy lady and very proud of her British heritage. Barbara loved mother nature and all animals, particularly her dogs, Casey and Charlie. In her spare time, she enjoyed visiting the park. Throughout her life, Barbara maintained a healthy lifestyle and encouraged her family and friends to do the same.

There will be no services at this time. Per her family's request, Barbara will be cremated.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
