ELKHART — Barbara J. Randolph, 47, of Elkhart and formerly of Greentown, passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 19, at home, due to her victory over cancer.
Barbara was born Oct. 27, 1966 in Kokomo to the late Richard Bunch and Emma Jane-Ann (McDaniel) Fulkerson.
She married Ray S. Randolph on Sept. 6, 1986, in Virginia Beach, Va.
Ray survives as well as her daughters, Lauren Randolph, Katie Randolph, Alicia Randolph (fiancé David Templeton), all of Elkhart; brother David Bunch of Kokomo; and her sister, Christina Fulkerson of Indianapolis.
Barbara was first and foremost a domestic engineer to her husband and three daughters. She worked for Horizon Transport. Barbara was a very active member of Elkhart Calvary Assembly of God Church, where she participated in many ministries, but excelled at Quiz Ministry at both a state and national level.
Barbara had a contagious smile that would light up a room. She was always encouraging others throughout her own illness and kept a positive outlook on life. She was a woman of great faith and enjoyed reading the Bible.
Services celebrating the life of Barbara J. Randolph will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Elkhart Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1010 E. Mishawaka Road, Elkhart. Friends may visit with the family and share memories for an hour prior to the start of the service. Pastor Brian Whidden and Pastor Don Gifford will celebrate. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask that memorials donations be made through and in c/o the church, to help with her medical expenses.
