ELKHART — Barbara K. Fager, 76, of Elkhart, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, Dec. 14, at her home, after a short battle with breast cancer.
Barbara was born Feb. 24, 1939, in Elkhart, to Charles and Hazel (Welch) Kuhn.
She married Ronald Lee Fager June 3, 1958. He passed away Oct. 13, 2013.
Barbara is survived by four daughters, Pamela (William) Wright, Janet Fager, Sharren (Brian) Popenfoose and Karen (Kevin) Carlock; also nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald, and a brother, Kenneth Dunn.
Barb formerly worked at Continental Industries and for Burger King. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and loved to read biographies and watch the "I Love Lucy Show."
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. celebration of life service Saturday, Dec. 19, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 29635 C.R. 10, Elkhart. Tim Ford will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
Barbara's family would like to thank Asera Care Hospice of Elkhart for the care and kindness given to their mother.
Billings Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
