She was born May 24, 1949, in El Paso, Texas, to Carlos and Faye (Haddox) Dowell. She married Grover Church on June 28, 1986, in Elkhart.

He survives along with two sons, Dale and Ted Fager, both of South Bend; two daughters, Barbara (Bill) Trzaska and Balisa (Rick) Graham, both of South Bend; 21 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a sister, Judith Dowell of Elkhart; and her mother, Faye Dowell of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carlos Dowell.

Friends may call for one hour before the 4 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 28, 2006) memorial service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Dr. Paul Turner of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research will officiate.

Mrs. Church formerly worked for Computers For All.

She was a member of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research and attended classes at Ivy Tech. She enjoyed watching her favorite shows on TV.
