Obituary
ELKHART — Arthur E. Phebus, 63, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, May 28, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Sept. 2, 1951, in Goshen, to Thomas D. and Betty L. (Kief) Phebus.
Surviving are several close friends.
Arthur was the life of the party. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as "Gunsmoke" and all his verbal anecdotes he quoted day in and out. He was loved by everyone he met. He changed lives without maybe even realizing that he had. Arthur's dynamic self will be truly missed by all of his Mosaic family and all his friends.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the South Bend First Brethren Church, 4909 S. Ironwood Drive, South Bend. Pastor Jared Eckerley will officiate. Internment will follow at a later date in Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mosaic, 1415 Lincolnway West, Suite D., Osceola, IN, 46561 in memory of Arthur.
