Antonio Esquivel Sr., 73, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on February 13, 1948 to the late Arturo Montelongo and Fidela (Esquivel) Guzman.

He is survived by his sons, Juan Arroyo, Ramon (Mebla Veronica Aguilar) Esquivel, Jose F. (Martha Aguilar) Esquivel, Antonio (Carsyn Gustafson) Esquivel Jr.; daughters, Maria F. (Heber) Baizabal, Victoria Snyder, Alyssa Esquivel, and Jer-z Castro; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1108 S Main St, Elkhart, IN 46516 with a rosary to take place at 2:30 p.m. A mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the church following the visitation. In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation will follow services at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. and Altera Cremation Services in Elkhart.

Antonio worked as a welder for several years and attended St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. He was a loving and kind father who would treat everyone with respect and would never hesitate to help someone in need. Antonio enjoyed traveling to Mexico to see his family, eat good food, make cheese, and watch his favorite telenovelas from time to time. He was also a snappy and elegant dresser who enjoyed the classic Ranchero look; he always pulled this look off very well. Antonio will be missed greatly by his loving family and many friends.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 1 a 3 p.m. el lunes 22 de febrero de 2021 en la Iglesia Católica St. Vincent De Paul, 1108 S Main St, Elkhart, IN 46516 con un rosario que se llevará a cabo a las 2:30 p.m. Se realizará una misa a las 3:00 p.m. en la iglesia después de la visitación.
