Antonio Beltran, Sr., 73, of Elkhart, fought the good fight and went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Antonio was born on April 6, 1953 in Allendes, MX to the late, Cristobal and Amalia (Luna) Beltran. He married the love of his life, Bessie G. (Cantu) Beltran on April 8, 1975. She passed away on March 28, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Bessie; sister, SanJuanita Garzez (Esteban Garzez); and grandson, Jacob Salazar Beltran;
Antonio is survived by his children, Antonio “Tony” Beltran, Jr. (Amy Kaufman), Alicia (Paul) Wiess and Amanda (Jose) Diaz; sisters, Olga Beltran Flores (David Flores) and Florestella Beltran Pena (David Penna); 9 grandchildren, and a great grandson, Elliot and 1 great granddaughter on the way.
Antonio retired from Home Crest/MasterBrand Cabinets in Goshen, Indiana. He later worked in production at ESI Meats in Bristol.
Antonio found great joy in the outdoors, especially fishing and landscaping. He had a natural ability for tinkering and fixing things, always finding solutions where others might not. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching basketball and boxing, as well as documentaries on the History and Discovery channels. He was a loyal Pepsi fan and had a deep appreciation for the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Antonio was known as a hardworking man who approached life with creativity and a willingness to think outside the box. He was dependable and generous, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Above all, Antonio was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who placed his family at the center of his life. His love and dedication to them will be deeply missed.
A Funeral Service for Antonio will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating.
A visitation for friends and family will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, 2 hours prior to the start of the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Goshen.
