Antoinette "Buffy" T. Cook, 33, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 29, 2021 at her home.

Antoinette was born on February 21, 1987 to Anthony Childress, Sr. and Tonya (McQueen) Cook in Flint, MI. She was married to David Cook Jr. whom survives.

Antoinette is survived by her children, Jazzchristine Cook, Aliyah McQueen, Da Mariona Cook and Iesha Wilson; and brothers, Atwan Caleb (Shatara) McQueen and Anthony Ray Childress; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Antoinette was a member of St. James A.M.E. in Elkhart. She looked forward to getting done up for a night out on the town. Antoinette loved to dance, listen to music and watch tv. She enjoyed a good meal and being the life of the party.  Antoinette had a big heart and would do anything to help someone else in need. She will be most remembered for her cheerfulness and making people laugh.

Her family was her life and she will be greatly missed.

There will be no visitation or services at this time. Cremation was chosen. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart 46514 is assisting the family.
