Mr. Anthony Fitzgerald "Tony" Bonds, 58, of Elkhart, passed on from this life into the next on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital following a sudden illness. He was born in Crosby, Mississippi on September 11, 1964 to the late Leroy Bonds and Josie (Bryant) Bonds, who survives him at home.

Also surviving Tony is his brother Larry (Rebecca) Bonds of Osceola; nieces and nephews Kelly Hudson and Maurice and Myron Phillips; great nieces and nephews Ambreanna, Kavion and Kyrie Hudson as well as Mathias, Madison, Meadow, MaKadiance, MaKenzie, Mya and Myron Phillips, Jr., and a large host of loving extended family and friends.

In accordance with the wishes of the family, cremation is to take place with a private burial at a later date at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart. Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services are assisting the family with the arrangements.

Tony worked over 35 years at E.R. Carpenter of Elkhart until his health required his retirement. He was a huge fan of the Indianapolis Colts and loved spending time on his PC playing all types of games. His home was his refuge, and he found peace and solace there where he could be among those whom he loved and who loved him.
