Aug. 19, 1916 - July 18, 2011

ELKHART -- Annie Beatrice Green, 94, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 19, 1916, to John and Anna Strong in Salem, Tenn. On Nov. 9, 1944, she married Paul Green in Crittenden County, Ark.

Surviving are her daughter, Evelyn Culbreath of Elkhart; son James (Rhonda) Green of Elkhart; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, James and Walter Green; daughter Mattie Green; two sisters; six brothers; and a granddaughter.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, July 25, 2011, at Bethany Chapel Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1900 13th St., Elkhart, IN 46516. Pastor Daniel Carmona will officiate. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Chapel Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
