BRISTOL — Annbelle Carreon Trujillo, 48, of Bristol, passed away in her home at 6:37 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 11, following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 17, 1965, in Sinton, Texas, to the late Pedro Saldana and Irma Carreon Gonzales, of Bristol.
She later married Valentin Trujillo Mar. 1, 2002 in Elkhart. He survives at home.
Also surviving is her daughter Analiesa Carreon of Bristol; sons Pablo Carreon and Omar Perez of Bristol and Obadiah Clemens of Nappanee; sisters Arlene Wagner, Angie Fernandez, Anna Ojeda, Norma Gonzales and Judy Castillo; brothers Arnold, Arturo, Timoteo and Roel Escamilla and Albert Garcia; as well as grandchildren Isac and Sara Rodriguez and Charlie Trujillo Carreon.
Visitation will take place at Billings Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m Wednesday Feb. 19 with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. with the funeral mass following at 2:30 p.m. Thursday Feb. 20 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1108 S. Main Street, Elkhart. In accordance with the family's wishes, Annbelle will be cremated following the services.
She worked at Phillips Company of Elkhart more than 10 years. She enjoyed taking motorcycle rides with her husband, traveling, camping and spending time with her grandchildren, but she will be best remembered for her huge summer cook-outs where she would prepare enough food to feed the entire neighborhood.
