Obituary

Annasue "Annie" Rocha, 19, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 27, 2025. She was born in Elkhart on July 16, 2005, to Jose D. Rocha and Sofia Reyes Sanchez.

Annie is also survived by her siblings, Maribel (Justin) Rocha Reyes, Noelle Claros Reyes, and Jose Alanzo Rocha; niece, Lillyana; father, Jose (Nancy) Rocha; mother, Sofia (Noe) Reyes Sanchez; cousins, Daniel Franco, Luis (Raysha) Gerrardo, and Mayra Gorrola; aunts, Mercedes (Mario Franco) Reyes and Maria Panye; uncles, Augustine (Maria) Rocha, Fausto Rocha, Aureliano (Patricia) Rocha; and close friends, Natalie Rodrigez and Valente (Claudia) Rodrigez.

Family and friends are called to gather for a visitation on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon at Northside Church of the Nazarene, 53569 Co Rd 7, Elkhart, IN 46514. A service will begin at noon at the church following visitation with Pastor Tim Sheets officiating. Annie will be laid to rest at St. Vincent's Cemetery immediately following the services.

Annie was the most understanding, kind, and loving person with a bubbly personality. She had an infectious laugh and a smile that could light up a room. Annie always wore a warm and welcoming smile on her face and had a witty sense of humor. She was an incredible artist who enjoyed drawing and putting to paper all the dreams she had on her mind.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her cousins and visiting some of them in Chicago. Annie enjoyed spending time at the University Park Mall with her friends and siblings, especially when she could peruse the aisles of F.Y.E and Hot Topic. Spending time with all of her family at reunions brought her the most joy. Annie will be greatly and sorely missed by all her family, friends, and those lives she touched within her community.
