ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — Anna F. Warner, 91, of Zephyrhills, passed away from natural causes at 7:24 a.m. March 21, 2013, at her daughter's home in North Liberty, Ind.
She was born in Stonington, Ill., on Sept. 1, 1921, to the late William and Ruby (Jeffers) Skidmore.
She married Hugh Warner Jr.
Preceding her in death were her husband and children, Hugh "Skip" Warner III and Donna Sassaman.
Surviving are her daughters, Alice Sloan of North Liberty and Sylvia (Donald) Mason of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sons William "Kim" (Cheryl) Warner and Daryll "Bud" (Tammy) Warner, both of Goshen, Ind.; brother Donald Skidmore of Buchanan, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Although Anna was returned to Florida for burial, a local gathering of family and friends will be from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Studebaker Pavilion, 1020 McDonald St., Elkhart, Ind.
Arrangements have been placed under the care of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
Anna worked many years as a hostess for several area country clubs.
