She was born Feb. 24, 1934, in Elkhart, to Clarence and Otie (Goldy) Smith. On Sept. 8, 1956, she married Carl D. Wolf Sr. He died in 2001. She then married Charles Croy.
He survives, along with two sons, Steve (Etta) Stover of Manchester, Tenn., and Carl D. (Judy) Wolf Jr. of Lakeville; two daughters, Vickie Keifer of Elkhart and Penny (Thomas) Wolf-Pontius of Edwardsburg, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jean (John) Lawson and Audrey (Danny) Metzger, both of Elkhart, Leona (Robert) Badour of Burton, Mich., and Francis (Lloyd) Ramsey of Madison, Ky.; and one brother, Douglas M. (Mary) Smith of Georgia.
Nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, where services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Larry Bratton will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
Mrs. Croy retired from L.E. Johnson Products, where she worked as a group leader for more than 10 years. She was a member of DAV No. 19 Auxiliary, Bristol American Legion Auxiliary and Goshen VFW Auxiliary.
