Angelo P. Rinaldi, 77, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Saturday evening, November 8, 2014 at Elkhart Hospice House.
He was born on April 19, 1937 in Elkhart to the late Patsy and Mary (Dente) Rinaldi. He married Sharon Mabie on July 8, 1966 in Elkhart.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 48 years, Sharon Rinaldi; daughter Michelle (Stephen) Rose, a son, Jim Rinaldi; grandson James Walters and granddaughter Burgandy Rinaldi, all of Elkhart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brother-in-laws, Rolland and Gary Mabie and his sister-in law Vicki Morris.
Angelo was a 1955 graduate of Elkhart High School. He retired in July of 1983 as the sales manager from WSJV Television Station. He then began working for Lochmandy Motors as the warranty manager from 1985 until he retired in 2002. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and the Elkhart Moose Lodge #599.
Angelo enjoyed playing golf, fishing, photography and trains. He was also a short wave radio operator.
His wishes were to be cremated. A private family graveside service was held in Prairie Street Cemetery.
Memorials can be made in his name to United Cancer Services of Elkhart Co. or The Center for Hospice Care. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home.
