ELKHART - Amanda N. (Redd) VanDiepenbos, 16, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017. She was born on Aug. 9, 2000 in Elkhart to George VanDiepenbos and Dawn Miller. Surviving are her mother Dawn Miller; father George VanDiepenbos and step-father Michael "Mick" Love; 3 loving brothers, John VanDiepenbos, Buddy Connett-Miller and Tyler Connett; grandparents, Sheila and William Miller; special aunts, April (Doug) Gardner, Angel (Robert) Helsing and uncle Tony (Chata) Parker; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by an uncle Mark Miller. Amanda was an on-line student with the hopes of being a counselor or therapist. She also worked in many area restaurants. She loved music, talking, Facebook and reading, she could light up a room and had many friends, and she will be missed and loved. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Billings Funeral Home from 10 am. until the 1:00 p.m. service, where all will be encouraged to share memories and stories of Amanda. Chaplain Marty Cerda will officiate. Private burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on Monday.  Please consider a memorial gift to her family to help at this time of great loss.
