NILES, Mich. — Amanda Lyn Barbour, 29, of Niles and formerly of Elkhart, Ind., passed away from complications of muscular dystrophy on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Oct. 28, 1983, in Elkhart.

Survivors include her husband, John Joseph Barbour of Niles; parents Gary (Diana) Sundman and Judy Morris; grandmother Janice Sundman; three sisters, Laura (Robert) Forrest, Erica (Dave) Harger and Monique (Steve Evans) Lewald; and two brothers, Roger Jenkins and Eric (Michele) Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Marie Sundman.

Amanda was a member of Buchanan Christian Church.

A gathering of family and friends and a celebration of her life will be Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Buchanan Christian Church, 112 W. Third St., Buchanan. The Rev. Sean Kidd will officiate.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in memory of Amanda.
