ELKHART — Allen A.  "Tony" Jones, 49, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017, at Elkhart Hospice House, after a battle with cancer.

Allen was born Aug. 21, 1967, in Chicago, to Bennie and Geraldine (Kirkendall) Jones.

Surviving is his mother, Geraldine; brother Keith (Parthenia) Jones; and three nieces and a nephew.

Allen was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Willie and Estella Jones and Margaret and Granville Kirkendall.

Allen was the manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken for five years, until his health forced him to retire early.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, at Agape Missionary Baptist Church, 248 W. Wolf Ave., Elkhart.

A repast will follow.
