April 19, 1941 - April 24, 2011
ELKHART -- Allen Anderson Smith, 70, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born April 19, 1941, in Williamson County, Tenn., to the late John Willie and Mary Alice (Scruggs) Smith.
He is survived by his caregivers, Audrey Mitchell and Steven (Sarah) Mitchell, both of Elkhart, and his many friends at ADEC.
Allen worked for 15 years at ADEC. He enjoyed playing the guitar.
A service to celebrate his life will begin at 4 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Living Faith Fellowship, 2601 Benham Ave., Elkhart, IN 46517.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the service with burial at a later date in Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
If so desired, memorials may be given to ADEC, P.O. Box 398, Bristol. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
