MISHAWAKA —  Allen Brownlee, 61, of Mishawaka, passed away June 14, 2018.

Allen was born to Theodora and Geneva (Meeks) Flowers on Sept. 30, 1956, in Elkhart.

He loved baseball, fishing, flying kites, painting and fixing model cars.

He is survived by his mother, Geneva Flowers; siblings Sammy Brownlee, Angel Gates, Laura (Bobby) Roy, Karen Brownlee, Dwight Brownlee, David Brownlee, Michael Brownlee, Brian Flowers and Charlotte (David) Malone; children Allen G. Cantrell and Glenisha Fields; eight grandchildren; and his partner in life, Debora Gillam.

He was preceded in death by his father; siblings Mary Ann and Clint Brownlee; and his son, Germaine A. Brown.

The funeral will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, with a viewing starting at noon at Open Gate Praise & Deliverance in Elkhart, and a graveside following the service in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
