ELKHART — Allan Ray Koltas, 69, of Elkhart, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Golden Living Center of Elkhart, after an extended illness.

He was born in Lorain, Ohio, on July 28, 1943.

He later married Evelyn Easterday on Sept. 20, 1991. She survives in Elkhart.

Also surviving is family friend and caregiver Frank Beebe of Elkhart.

In accordance with his wishes, Allan was cremated.

No visitation or services have been scheduled. His remains will be buried at a later date in Marion National Cemetery in Marion.

Arrangements have been under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.

Allan was a production worker at several area manufacturing companies for many years, and served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
