Obituary
ELKHART — Alice J. Streeter, 47, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, from injuries from a motor vehicle accident.
Alice was born Sept. 16, 1967, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to George A. and Jennie (Rincione) Streeter.
They survive as well as a son, Michael Streeter and Angela Noel Snyder of Elkhart; two grandchildren Benjamin and Illyanna Streeter; brothers David (Debra) Streeter and Phillip (Rose) Streeter, both of Delton, Mich., and James (Shinnar) Streeter of Elkhart; sisters Joanne Streeter and Nancy (Gary) Aerni of Elkhart; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Streeter, and grandparents Alice and Clyde Streeter and Phillip and Rosalee (Lilly) Rincione.
Alice formerly worked at Pizza Hut on McKinley and Capitol avenues. She also was a bus driver for Penn-Harris-Madison School Corp. for 16 years.
Alice was an avid animal lover and adored her grandchildren. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Friends may call for an hour prior to the 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edwardsburg, Mich. The Rev. Joe McCormick will officiate. Burial will follow at Edwardsburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please kindly direct memorials to the family.
