ELKHART — Alice M. Demorest, 93, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018.

She was born, in Mishawaka, Sept. 7, 1925, to the late Dean and Bonnie (Gunder) Sheline, and married Carl Demorest Jr., who preceded her in 2003.

Surviving are her sister, Nancy (David) Nesbitt, nieces and nephews Tim (Caroline) and Todd (Suzanne) Brill, Susie Gall, Corky (Jean) Demorest, Judy (Bruce) Hopkins, Sandra (Fred) Shaw, Wanise Beers, and Linda (Bill) Hudson.

Alice retired from Whitehall Laboratories in Elkhart as a line leader after 39 years there.

She enjoyed reading, music, traveling and spending time with family.

Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services will host an 11 a.m. service Thursday, Oct. 18, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow in Rock Run Cemetery, Millersburg.

Pastor Tim Sheets will officiate.

Memorials may go to Center for Hospice or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
