Obituary
ELKHART -- Alfred A. "Blaze" Blazejowski, 83, of Elkhart, died Sunday (Aug. 10, 2008) of natural causes in Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Nov. 22, 1924, to Stanley Blazejowski and Josephine Turek. On Aug. 24, 1957, he married Margaret Peddicord in Dayton, Ohio.
She survives along with one daughter, Diana Vulgamore of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and one sister, Jene Gonet of Virginia.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 2 p.m. Thursday memorial service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton.
Mr. Blazejowski graduated from Lafayette College in 1950. He worked at Miles Laboratories for 40 years in sales and marketing. He was a member of Moose Lodge 599 in Elkhart and enjoyed working with computers in his spare time. He was an avid Notre Dame fan. He was an Army Air Forces World War II veteran.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
