In Loving Memory of Alexandra Espinoza May 18, 1948 – February 15, 2025

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Alexandra Espinoza, a loving mother and grandmother who left us peacefully on February 15, 2025 at the age of 76. She was surrounded by her family and embraced with love in her final moments.

Alexandra Sanchez Acosta Espinoza was born on May 18, 1948 in Olanchito, Honduras to Rafael Sanchez and Rosa Acosta. Alexandra lived a life full of strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She married Jose Nahun Espinoza at the age of 22 and worked tirelessly towards her dream of moving to the United States with her husband and children. This dream became reality in 1995, and her American Citizenship is one of Alexandra's proudest accomplishments.

Alexandra found joy in the simple pleasures of music, dancing and visiting with family and friends. However, her greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother. She spent time with her grandchildren every day and bragged about her grandchildren to everyone she met.

She is survived by her children, Christian (Amy) Espinoza and Jenifer (Michael) Croft who will forever hold her love and life lessons close to their hearts; and her 8 grandchildren, who brought her immense joy every day.  She is now reunited in peace with her husband, Jose Nahun Espinoza, son Jose Espinoza, and brother Rafael Sanchez Jr.

Her legacy of love and resilience will continue to live on through the lives she touched. While we mourn her passing, we find comfort in the memories and the profound impact she had on all who knew her.
