ELKHART -- Alberta K. Toth, 85, of Elkhart, died at 7:45 a.m. Friday (Jan. 16, 2009) at home.

She was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Elkhart to Louis H. and Dora (Johnson) Achberger.

She married Joseph A. Toth on Sept. 30, 1945, in Elkhart. He died Dec. 8, 1995.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane Regalla of Elkhart; one son, Terry (Mary) Toth of Tucson, Ariz.; four granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, her twin, Albert, and Harold Achberger.

No visitation or services are planned. Cremation has taken place with Billings Funeral Home handling arrangements.

Mrs. Toth was a homemaker and spent her summers at the family cottage at Twin Lakes in Howe. She was a graduate of Elkhart High School and enjoyed quilting.
