Obituary
ELKHART — Alante Laron Ginyard Jr., infant son of Alante L. Ginyard Sr. of Detroit and Hope L. Simmons of Elkhart, passed away at 2:16 a.m. Sunday, June 28, shortly following his birth at Elkhart General Hospital.
Surviving are his grandparents, Gerry (Angela Grove) Simmons and Tonya McCartney, both of Elkhart, and Melinda Ginyard and Reonnis Turner, both of Detroit; great-grandparents Judy (Randy) Letner and Frances Simmons, both of Elkhart; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In accordance with the family's wishes, no immediate services have been scheduled. Cremation will take place under the care of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart. A memorial will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be given to the family via the Bob George Memorial Fund c/o Bristol American Legion Post 143, or at the GoFundMe account on Facebook under Alante's name.
