Alan S. Wenzel, 48, of Elkhart, passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Raclin House, Center for Hospice Care. He was born in South Bend, IN on August 8, 1978, to Steve and Suzanne (Kitkowski) Wenzel, who survive him.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a rosary recitation at 6:30 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart, IN 46514. Mass will take place the following day on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. with an hour of visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas of the Apostle Catholic Church, 1331 N Main St, Elkhart, IN 46514. A graveside service will immediately follow where Alan will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561.

Alan was an intelligent and kind man who graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a degree in IT and worked in the IT department for Notre Dame. He attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church alongside his parents. Alan made many friends over the years and enjoyed their company. He was also a car enthusiast and rode motorcycles for a time. Alan will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends.
