ELKHART -- Agnes J. Foltz, 92, of Elkhart, died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday (May 11, 2010) at Valley View Health Care Center.

She was born April 18, 1918, in Elkhart, to Bror A. and Helen (Bystry) Nelson. She married Robert J. Foltz on July 31, 1937, in Elkhart. Robert died May 11, 2004.

Surviving are a son, Terry L. (Mary) Foltz of Cassopolis, Mich.; daughters Judith A. Foltz of Elkhart and Darlene Motier of Broken Arrow, Okla.; grandchildren Robert Foltz of Indianapolis, Margaret Foltz (fiance Ben Jacob) of Jasonville and Christopher Motier of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and sister Elizabeth Maln of Elkhart.

Mrs. Foltz was a homemaker and worked as an assembler at CTS Corp. for 34 years, retiring in 1983. She was a 1936 graduate of Elkhart High School and had attended St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Agnes was a member of the UAW-CIO Local 941. She enjoyed cooking and watching TV games shows and sports.

Private visitation and services will be held Saturday at Billings Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin Bauman of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church will officiate with burial to follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
