Obituary
ELKHART- Agatha A. "Hap" Troyer, 83, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born January 5, 1928 in Sturgis, MI to Morton and Lilian (Stetson) Burkhead.
Survivors include her 4 daughters, Sandy (Tom) Baldwin of Ocala, FL, Diana (Bob) Sampers of Elkhart, Candy (Steve) Campbell of Jimtown and Jody (Forrest Smith) Buenger of Elkhart; son, Jeff (Vicki) Troyer of Jimtown; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Donald Everett Troyer, she was preceded in death by 9 siblings.
"Hap" was employed with J.C. Penny as a sales associate for more than 25 years prior to her retirement. She was a past member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Women of The Moose. She loved spending time with her family and playing card games.
The family will receive friends today from 5 until 8 P.M. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart and 1 hour prior to the 11:30 A.M. funeral service on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Billings Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Sheets will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Loyal Order of Moose, Mooseheart.
