WALKERTON — Adriana D. Roskam, 64, of Walkerton, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Elkhart Hospice House.
She was born on Dec. 17, 1947, in Brielle, The Netherlands, to the late Johannes and Aaltje (Spaan) Roskam.
Also preceding her in death was a nephew, Vincent Hartman.
Surviving are a sister, Ali (Harold) Hartman of Elkhart; brothers John Roskam of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Paul Roskam of Elkhart; and several nieces and nephews.
Adriana worked for NISCO in Bremen and also as a cashier at the Walmart Store in Plymouth. She formerly worked for 30 years at Conn-Selmer Corp. Her family moved to the United States in 1957. She was an Elkhart High School graduate. Adriana raised alpacas and loved her horses and her chihuahua, Angel.
Friends may call for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Saturday celebration of life service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Karen Eis, a family friend, will officiate. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place at Altera Cremation Services. Burial will be at a later date at Five Points Cemetery, Edwardsburg.
