Adrian Lee Smith, 49, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Cass County, Michigan, following a motor vehicle accident.

Adrian was born on May 9, 1974 in Harvey, IL to Robert S. Smith and Alberta (Alwine) Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.

Adrian is survived by his children; 4 brothers; a sister and 2 grandchildren.

Adrian was a skilled carpenter and worked in construction.

Adrian was a supportive dad, proud of his children's accomplishments. He was an obsessive collector. Adrian was a candy connoisseur and indulged in the newest sweets.

He was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Adrian had a giving nature who put others before himself. He lived his life on his own terms and was a free spirit.

A Memorial Service for Adrian will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating.

Friends and family may visit from 5:00pm to 6:00pm prior to the start of the service at the funeral home.
