Obituary
ELKHART — Adel P. Scheretie, 51, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, May 22, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 18, 1964, in Cairo, Egypt, to Paul G. and Fawkia (Aziz) Scheretie.
Survivors include his wife, Hala F. Scheretie of Elkhart; two sons, Justin (Heather) Scheretie of Granger and Michael (Cassie) Scheretie of Naples, Fla.; three brothers, Ray (Hannan) Scheretie of Edwardsburg, Mich., George (Belinda) Scheretie of Cassopolis, Mich., and Emerson Scheretie of Elkhart; three grandchildren, Caleb, Brooklyn and Maximus Scheretie, all of Granger; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Adel was employed in the residential construction industry for several years.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26, at the Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
