Adam "Black" Blackburn, 40, of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Adam was born in Goshen to John Blackburn and Cathy (Barbaro) McDonald on April 9, 1981.

He is preceded in death by brother, Andrew and sister, Katie Bowser.

Adam is survived by his mother, Cathy (Bobby) McDonald; father, Jack (Eva) Blackburn; his brothers, Dustin McDonald and Josh Bowser; his sisters, Shawnise McDonald, Iyana "Lil Sis" Smith, Mary Blackburn, Kris Huffer (Todd), Erica Baum, Lindsey Bowser and Amber Dawn Debord; close niece, Renesne Johnson as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Adam was a forklift operator with American Cargo in Marian, MI. He belonged to the 4-H Club when he was younger. Adam was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping and hunting with his friends. He loved watching movies especially Marvel movies.

Adam had a gift to draw, a great sense of humor and he will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service for Adam will be held at a later date. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
