ELKHART -- Abraham Lincoln "Abe" MacDoo, 60, of Elkhart, died Sunday (Jan. 16, 2011) at the Center for Hospice, Elkhart.
He was born Jan. 18, 1950, in Hughes, Ark., to Purvis and Ruth (Doff) MacDoo.
His mother survives, as do a sister, Mamie E. Harris; 10 daughters, Sandra Bryant, Annette MacDoo, Ruth A. Powers, Annie Stanley, Sharonda Jenkins, Mary A. MacDoo, Sarah MacDoo, Mamie M. MacDoo, Samantha MacDoo and Michelle MacDoo; 34 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and aunts and uncles Leo and Annie Twilley, Annette Doss, and Roy and Johnnie Doss.
Most knew him by his CB handle 005. Abe formerly worked for Conrail and a foundry in Bristol.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Frame Cemetery, C.R. 113, Elkhart.
Billings Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
