IN LOVING MEMORY OF
A. Tucker
Morgan-Hardy
February 4, 1998 – August 28, 2020
Mr. A. Tucker Morgan-Hardy, 22, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly at the emergency department at Elkhart General Hospital on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 1:43 am following a rather sudden medical condition. He was born in Lancaster, OH on February 4, 1998 to Thomas "Tom" Carpenter and Jill R. Hardy, both of Ohio, who survive him.
His natural son, Jonah Lyle, survives him at home along with his fiancée Brianna Lacopo and her son Alexander Gerrald; followed by his brother Kyle Hardy of Elkhart; his Uncle Jerrod Hardy of Elkhart; "in-laws" Greg Lacopo and Debbie (Dustin Butler) Lacopo, both of Elkhart; grandparents Jackie (Keith) Dragoo of Bristol and Jack Hardy of New Lexington. Also surviving is his partner in crime, Cameron Lasley. A host of others will miss Tucker as well, including aunts, uncles, cousins, good friends, plus a fair share of shady characters as well including a motley assortment of homies, partners in crime and brothers from another mother.
Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart have been assisting the family with arrangements, and cremation will take place in accordance with Tucker's wishes. No immediate services have been planned, but the family is looking to the future for a possible celebration of Tucker's life.
Tucker was a caring, loving and happy son, brother, father, friend and fiancée who did everything he could to live life to the fullest. And he never liked to do it alone; if he was gonna soar, so were his friends and family. He had a contagious smile and persistent laugh that could light up a room, and his snarky, humorous and sometimes silly personality always kept everyone in stitches.
At the time of his passing, he was a welder in the local RV industry, but his mechanical talent and skill far outreached your standard shade-tree mechanic level of experience. Tucker could wrench on just about anything, and if it had a mechanical heart, Tucker could make it beat. While he has plenty of friends to help him, Tucker's number one assistant was his son Jonah, with whom he always included in most everything he did.
Although Tucker craved the company of his friends and family, he also liked his alone time, where he would often retreat to a quiet spot to fish or to slip on some headphones and kick back to his favorite collection of tunes, or to play his drums or to do a bit of on-line gaming. He also loved to longboard and was currently building a stunt bike as well.
Memorial donations may be given to Jill to assist the family with final expenses, and an account will be set up in Tucker's name. Please check back with us soon as we will be sharing that donation information here as soon as it comes in.
