Viktoriya and Elias G. DeRosa

Viktoriya DeRosa, 19, of Edwardsburg, MI, departed this world to be in the presence of her Maker on Monday, July 08, 2019 at the University of Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Elias Grey DeRosa, on June 28, 2019, who only stayed for a moment but left an indelible imprint on her heart.

Viktoriya was born on July 13, 1999 in Lebedinovka, Kyrgyzstan. She will be lovingly missed by her parents, Andrew and Sharon (Chirgwin) DeRosa, and by her sister, Lucy DeRosa. Viktoriya is also survived by her grandparents, Don DeRosa Sr. (Pop), Shirley DeRosa (Grandma), and Kevin (Poppy) and Helen (Nanny) Chirgwin; uncles (aunts), Don DeRosa Jr, Alan Chirgwin (Laurie) and Craig Chirgwin (Natalie); and her cousins, Erin Toups (Ryan), Eric DeRosa (Whitney), Cayla (Alex), Lachlan (Sasha), Emily, Sam (Britt) and Chloe (Jake).

Viktoriya was an outgoing young lady, who loved to laugh and to make others smile. She liked to spend time with friends, enjoyed music, liked to draw, had an interest in fashion and was always ready to try new things. She was a member at Elkhart Reformed Presbyterian Church, and while her family grieves her leaving they are comforted in knowing she has found eternal rest.

A visitation will take place on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A service will take place on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Elkhart Reformed Presbyterian Church, 2323 17th St, Elkhart, IN 46517 with Pastor Wade Mann to officiate. A burial will follow the service at Edwardsburg Cemetery.
