Teena R. McGuire

Mrs. Teena Romaine McGuire, 63, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully following a sudden illness at her home on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at 7:20 am.  She was born Oct. 14, 1956 in Bristol to the late Robert U. and Betty (Royce) Campbell and later married Michael A. “Mike” McGuire in Apache Junction, AZ in 1990. He survives at home after 29 wonderful years together. Two former spouses, William J. O’Keefe and Timothy Jacobs, survive as well.

Other survivors include son Rob (Robin) Jacobs; brothers Michael (Shelia Pappas) and Jeff (Joyce Hackney) Campbell and several loving grandchildren including Laura A. R. Jacobs. A sister, Tammy Housand, precedes her in death.

In accordance with Teena’s wishes, cremation is to take place with services pending at a later date. Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart is assisting the family with arrangements.

Teena worked in the local RV industry for several years but was also an LPN at several area nursing facilities for many years before that. She and her husband also managed a small farm over the years, and she had always loved to do the chores, feed the critters, play with her dogs and go deer hunting with Mike. Sincere, joyful and always giving, Teena lived and loved life to the fullest, sporting a warped sense of humor that matched her fun-loving personality.
