Rodolfo “Rudy” Arceo, 60, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Aug. 21, 1958, in El Refugio, Jalisco, Mexico, to Juan and Teresa (Alvarez) Arceo.
He married Maria Arceo on Dec. 16, 1978, in Chicago.
Maria survives, along with four children, Hector (Amber) Arceo, Rudy (Ana) Arceo, Gabriela (Omar Quinones) Arceo, and Alex Arceo; and seven loving grandchildren, Julian, Jesse, Alexa, Anabelle, Sophia, Emily and Layla.
Also surviving are two brothers and six sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Celina.
Rodolfo was a plant manager working in the foam industry in several local plants for over 30 years.
He enjoyed being outdoors and working in his yard. He was an honest and hard-working man, who loved his family and grandchildren.
He also loved baseball.
Visitation for Rodolfo will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Billings Funeral Home.
A rosary will be recited beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
The Rev. Patrick Hake will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery.
