Robert Bisbey Life Story

ELKHART — Robert B. “Bob” Bisbey, 85, of Elkhart, passed away Monday morning, April 16, 2018. at Greenleaf Health Campus. 

Bob was born July 20, 1932, in Elkhart, to Russell and Bernice (Reasaur) Bisbey. 

He married Betty Lee Becht on Dec. 9, 1984, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Elkhart.

Betty survives, as well as a daughter, Karen (Steve) Sienicki of Mishawaka; stepdaughter Sheryl (David) Torok of Elkhart; six stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, a daughter Debbie Bisbey and sister Carol Richmond preceded Bob in death. 

Bob worked as the tool crib manager for the CTS Corp. for more than 25 years, before retiring. 

He was also a member of the Quarter Century Club at CTS. 

An avid sports fan, he followed and rooted for Notre Dame football, the Chicago White Sox and the Indy Colts. 

Bob’s most special times were following any activities involving his stepgrandchildren, to watch, cheer, and encourage them in their endeavors.  

Per his wishes, no services are planned. 

Cremation was chosen. 

Arrangements for Bob are under the care of Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
