Richard E. Magee

ELKHART — Richard E. Magee, 73, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017. 

Richard was born June 4, 1944, to the late Walter and Anna Magee. 

He attended Tarkio College and earned a degree at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. 

Rich and his wife, Victoria, were involved in the art community of Elkhart and the surrounding area. 

Richard was a successful salesman/marketer for the mining and demolition industry and the housing and RV industry. 

During his early years, he was an Olympic grade swimmer and diver but a knee injury ended his future of become an Olympian. 

Richard was a big hearted jovial man with a zest for talking. 

Richard was survived by his son, Richard Scott (Katherine) Magee, daughter Heather (William) Linderfelt and grandchildren Skye, Ryan, Cooper and Claire. 

Honoring Richard’s request, he will be cremated and have no services.
