ELKHART - Patricia Frances Fothergill, 84, passed away Tuesday evening, April 3, 2018 at the home of her daughter Debra Kozlowski in South Bend. She was born on May 3, 1933 in Fulton, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Myrtle (Holt) Danner. She married Stanton L. Fothergill on April 12, 1952; he died October 17, 2008.
Surviving are three daughters, Deb (Jim) Kozlowski, Terri (Richard) Myers and Pam (Glen) Burkey; 4 loving grandchildren, Brad Prince, Amy (John) Bateson, Chad Prince, Lucas Myers; 5 great grandchildren, Chelsi and Mariah Bateson, Taitum, Kinsley and Logan Myers; and her sister Barbara Mason. In addition to her parents and husband, brothers Jack and Jim Danner, sisters Nancy Tharp and Virginia Fries, and two granddaughters Becca and Brandy Fothergill preceded her in death.
Patricia worked as a machine operator for Industrial Lamp Company for 30 years, retiring in 1992. She was also a member and past-president of UAW Local #428. Patricia was the proud wife of a veteran; she was a member of the DAV, VFW, Eagles and American Legion. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader. She attended the Vineyard Church in Granger.
Relatives and friends may call from 5-8 pm. Friday, April 6, and 1 hour prior to the 11:00 am. Saturday, celebration of life service for Patricia at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart.
