ELKHART — Nathan D. Yoder, 35, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018.
He was born Nov. 6, 1982, to Dean J. and Linda (Snell) Yoder in Elkhart.
Nathan loved animals, especially his dogs. He had a natural talent for music. He was able to play any instrument he could get his hands on. He once played saxophone with Maynard Ferguson. He also wrote music and had a deep appreciation for every genre of music. He loved politics and loved to watch Fox News. He loved gardening and his cars and trucks. He was a devoted father and son and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother; his children, Bryce and Laylah Yoder; siblings, Michele (Mark) Yoder, Jeffrey (Dawn) Yoder and Brian Yoder; cousin Matt Snell; seven nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and -nephews; good friends Jeff Szyarto, Brandon Williams and Stan Liponoga; and his dogs, Cooper, Maggie and Sara.
He is preceded in death by his father and by his grandparents, Harley and Leatha Yoder, and Albert and Joyce Snell.
A service for Nathan will be held at a later date.
