Myron E. Walker, 93, of Elkhart, Indiana and formerly of Watsontown, PA, passed to his rest Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his home. He was born on September 23, 1924 in Watsontown the tenth child of Martin L. and Bessie M. (Springer) Walker. Myron graduated from the Watsontown High School class of 1942. He married the former Dorothy Ann Galer on April 30, 1945 in Mifflinburg, PA. Dorothy died on January 8, 2010 after 65 wonderful years of marriage. Surviving is a son Alan E. Walker of Elkhart, daughter, Kay I. Hoffman of Lewisburg, PA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren survive as well. Myron was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dorothy and 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Myron was the owner and operator along with his wife of the Popcorn Shop at the Pierre Moran Mall from 1984 until 1989. He then worked for Walmart as a greeter at the County Road 6 store for 17 years, retiring in 2008. Myron was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge #599.  When living in Pennsylvania, he was co-owner of the Day Star Restaurant in Watsontown, PA. No local services are planned.  A private burial will be at Watsontown Cemetery, Watsontown, PA.  Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart assisted with local arrangements. Pennsylvania arrangements are under the care of Conrath-Grenoble Funeral Home of Watsontown. If friends so desire, memorials for Myron can be directed to the Watsontown (PA) Methodist Church.
