When I was a kid in Elkhart, the Jay family, Jay, Mary Joe, Pat, Phyllis, and Mike, were my neighbors and Mike was my best friend. We built tree houses, climbed the rubber pile in Summer and rode sleds down it in Winter, played in thunder storms, explored caboose's. Did all the things kids in the 50's did. Mike was a good, kind person and I think back on that time with fond memories. His death is difficult to comprehend, but i know my life is better for having known him. Carol, kids, Pat, Phyllis, I am so, so sorry for your loss.
