Linda D. McFarland

ELKHART — Linda Diane McFarland, 59, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

She was born March 25, 1959, in Manistee, Michigan, to Henry and Barbara (Eisely) French.

She married Kevin McFarland in 1998 in Niles, Michigan.

Linda graduated from Niles High School in 1977 and worked as a CSR at MSC Industrial Supply in Elkhart for more than 12 years.

She was very proud of her service in the U.S. Navy.

She loved to sew, crochet and garden in her spare time.

She also loved to travel, hunt and fish whenever she got the chance.

She loved animals, especially her cats, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband; mother; sons Jason (Alesia) Kurz Sr., Kyle (Kristen) McFarland and Ryan McFarland; grandchildren Colton Kauffman, Christopher Wilson, Breeana Kurz, Jason Kurz Jr., Samuel Kurz, Jaxon Kurz, Harper McFarland, and Charley McFarland; and her siblings, Jim (Elizabeth) French, Susan Cooper, and Steve French.

She was preceded in death by her father, and her son, Johnny Kurz.

As per her wishes, no service will be held.

Donations in Linda’s memory can be made to Faithful Friends Pet Cremation of Elkhart and to Pets Connect! Inc. of South Bend.
